Lest we forget. A beautiful evening to walk the dog and here is the Cave Penney cross which sits close to Dartmeet and commands amazing views towards the coast. The cross was erected in memory of Evelyn Anthony Cave Penney who was killed in combat in Palestine on June 8th 1918 aged 19.
This is Mr Brown who is my next door neighbour. He is a Dexter which is a small, slow growing breed of cow that produces amazingly succulent beef. He shares the field with Mr Black so there is a reservoir dogs theme going on!
Our 2 part-time chefs cooking a dinner party for 8 generous people who bid £600 in our auction last November for this prize.
